Colonel Sawhney joined army in 1942 and served the motherland for many years before joining hands with Arya Samaj.In 1983 he was selected as President Arya Samaj.Defence Colony where he brought lots of improvement.He opened medical polyclinic and started Nursery & Primary Teachers training College for women in 1984.His Untiring zeal and efforts are laudable in the service of Arya Samaj.As the chairman of the school, his support and encouragement has enabled the school to make its mark in all the fieldsmbe it cultural activities,sports,academic standard or infrastructure.
