| Our
school organised an Interactive Session for the
parents of class VI on the topic 'KNOW THY CHILD'
on 03.12.11. The session began with the lighting
of the ceremonial lamp and Gayitri Mantra. The
Resource person Mrs. I. P. Bhatia (Principal) of
the school said that in the changing scenario of
the fast pacing world it has become quite
challanging task for the parents to handle the
transition in physical, emotional and cognitive
aspect of their children's life To make the
session quite interactive and interesting , a
powerpoint presentation was presented by the
Principal . She laid stress on that the age
between 10-12 is a time when children get a view
of approaching adulthood and hence the most
sensitive period of life.
To
handle the same she emphasised on formula of
ABC...

A- Acceptance in family so that he can navigate
peer pressure.

B - Boundaries - Set clear Boundaries
*
C - Character Building - Demonstrate a model
character to be followed.
Parents
appreciated the efforts of school and found it an
eye opening experience and found themselves better
equipped to handle their children in a qualitative
way.
The
session ended with the Shanti Path.
