On 26th April 2011, Earth Day was celebrated in our school in association with  'SHAAN', an NGO . Adebate competition was organised on this occasion for the students of Delhi & NCR school. The topic for the two groups were :

1. The environment is at stake due to economic development. Shweta Ranjan - 9C(Against), Tanay Misra - 8A(Favour)

2. The deluge in Japan calls for a need of stopping the usage of Nuclear Power as a source of energy.

Around 20 prestigious school participated in this thought provoking debates and students represented their vision for a Greener, cleaner, safer world to line in school bagged the Best team trophy in the said events.
