Sports form an integral part of DAV
Noida. Tremendous thrust is given
to the physical development of the
students. Various inter-school and
inter-house competitions are organized
to give full scope to the students
to develop their budding talent. The
school also has sufficient playgrounds
for outdoor games like cricket,basketball,football,volleyball,Handball.Every
year school wins many prizes in District,State
and National level sport tournaments.Sports
competitions and activities also help
in developing the traits of sportsmanship
and teamwork. |

An indoor Games Hall,Gym,Yoga,centre
and Table Tennis Hall are also available.
Currently the school has senior and
junior teams for Football, Cricket,
Table Tennis and Badminton. The teams
are given regular practice during
the work experience periods. Their
level of competitiveness is evident
from the laurels they have brought
to the school. |

for Chess and Table Tennis. A special
coach from National Institute of Sports
coaches the students in the art of
Tae-Kwon-do. Table tennis players
go for regular practice and coaching
to the Table Tennis Academy in Sector
36, Noida. |

is to prepare various competent teams
to participate in CBSE and Mahatma
Hansraj Tournaments as well as Tournaments
at District, State and National levels.
Bharat Scouts and Guides programme
was also introduced in the school
