The eve of Republic Day was buzzing with patriotic zeal & fervour when young enthusiasts of Sarla Chopra DAV Public School, Noida were on their march with various festivities & celebrations. The programme started with lighting of lamp & floral welcome. The chief guest of the function was Dr. C. Prakash, Vice Chairman of the school. To mark the day a ceremonial speech was delivered. A motivational song, “Voh din han kitna dur…….” was presented by school’s chair group. A poem was recited which was like an eyeopener. Solo dance performance by Ranjeeta of class X was mesmerizing. The students of junior wing put the stage on fire when they presented a foot tapping dance.  Mrs. I.P. Bhatia, the Principal of the school urged the students to dream, to have will power & determination to achieve the dream & she also put her strong faith in ‘Youth’ – the young generation to bring a dynamic change in present scenario. A Ballet ‘ Unity in diversity’ was also presented which conveyed the vastness of India, its cultural diversity but along with it the integrity of India its oneness & unique tradional heritage was also there. The chief guest Dr. C. Prakash in his speech gave very valuable suggestions for the future generation.He talked about vedic mantras & their relevance. He also gave very appropriate specifications about Tiranga. His words filled every heart with patriotism. On the occasion of  Republic Day many students were awarded for their meritorious achievements in the field of Science & Art. It was a proud moment for the school when a team of teachers under the guidance of principal Mrs. I.P. Bhatia received ‘Green Clean School Award’. The programme ended with lots of zeal & spirit for the motherland.
